The Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) is made up of Office
of the Provost Marshal and the Fort Myer Fire Department.
The purpose of Emergency Services is to provide law enforcement, security
and ceremonial support to Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall and the
United States Army Military District of Washington.
The Fort Myer Fire & Emergency Services Division
is committed to providing the highest level of broadbased Fire, Rescue
and Emergency medical services to those entrusted in our care. We
will work to prevent harm to people, personnel, government property
and the environment, through education, training and prevention programs.

Gate hours for Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall
FORT MYER:
Hatfield Gate on Washington Blvd. at South 2nd Street - Main gate, open at all times.
Henry Gate on Arlington Blvd. (U.S. Rt. 50) at North Pershing Dr. - Closed.
Wright Gate on Marshall Dr. at Meade St. just off Rte 110 - Daily: DOD ID Card Holders - 5 a.m. to 11 p.m; Visitors - 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All Visitors must access the Fort Myer portion of JBM-HH through Hatfield Gate between the hours of 6 p.m. to 5 a.m.
HENDERSON HALL:
Henderson Hall Gate 1 (Main Gate): Open 24/7 to DOD ID Card holders and visitors.
Henderson Hall Gate 3 (Annex Gate): Open 6 a.m. - 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
FORT MCNAIR:
Ceremonial (Front) Gate: Open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for DOD ID Card holders ONLY.
2nd Street Gate: Open 24/7 to DOD ID Card holders and visitors.
Eisenhower (Pedestrian) Gate: Open Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for DOD ID Card Holders and NDU personnel ONLY.
